SourceCopy is an automated, unattended online backup solution that ensures data held on PCs, file servers, laptops, and application/database servers is securely backed up and transferred offsite on a regular, predetermined schedule.

Backups are performed by SourceCopy’s agentless software, which is installed on customers’ networks. Backup data is then regularly transferred offsite to one of Diversified’s secure data centers via a network connection (dedicated or shared). SourceCopy provides an easy to use interface that simplifies the backup and recovery process and provides detailed information about scheduled operations.

All data is encrypted at the customer site prior to transmission, and remains encrypted while stored in Diversified’s data center vault. And sophisticated technologies, including data compression, Global Single Instance Storage (sometimes called common file elimination) and delta blocking, maximize data transfer rates over the network connection.
